Your Guide To Social Media Marketing

In our previous article, we told you about top social media sites that help businesses all over the world to engage with existing and potential customers. Today we will tell you where to start and how to make sure that your chosen strategy will work.
Obviously, all of us want results as soon as possible which is not always the case, but following these simple steps you could achieve your goals faster.

Your Target Audience
The truth is, your potential customers have accounts in different social networks and the main question is – how to reach them? You need to have a plan of action to keep you focused, but remember: do not rush, do everything gradually, think about details and your target audience: what their interests are, what would be interesting for them to read, what would make them interact with your publications.
Timing
We all sometimes forget that the internet does not close it’s doors at 5 pm, it works 24/7. The most active times in social media are considered to be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings.
Updates
You can update your social network as many times a day as you want, but you have to do it regularly, and, would be better if you could manage a publication a day. But, again, it should be interesting and engaging to your target audience.
Link Back
Once you publish something on your blog, or Pinterest – let all the rest of the world find it. Summarize the content, linking back to the original news, send a quick note to Facebook, Google+ and other accounts. Note: the summary on each social network should be focused on your customers needs, wants and interests.
Replies
Whatever your reply is: ‘Oh that’s awesome, or can we have a quick chat, I am interested in your services’
It should be: 1. checked, whether it is a spam message or not (sometimes people will leave comments just to advertise their own companies, be aware of that), 2. reply to a person who got back to you as quickly as you possibly can. It can be your potential customer, or a friend of your potential customer.
Negative Comments
It is proven that no matter how brilliant you are in whatever you do, there are few people who will criticise you. Every single company gets negative feedback, but it should not affect you in any way, shape or form. Take it on board, see if you can improve and move on.
Be Positive
Social Media Marketing is an instrument for getting more business in doors, but you can not forget that your clients go to Facebook not only to find new offers or get to know which project you have completed today. They want fun, beautiful photos, exciting articles, interesting videos. Make them happy, talk to them through your articles and reply to their comments. There is a brilliant movie (one of my favourites) called ‘Pay It Forward’. The idea is: you simply help three people and you get good back.
Designate Time
It is very time consuming to build brand awareness through social media. So we advice you either hire a professional who will do this job in-house or outsource to a company who specialize in social media, this will save your time in that you can focus on your own role within the company.

We are happy to say that in addition to our Branding and Web Design Services, we can provide you with excellent SMM and SEO. It is important to know what you are doing, as it is difficult to correct mistakes that are already on a public platform.
