Hemacon was founded in 2009 and is based in Dusseldorf Germany. Offering a unique solution to all corners of the world: separating blood at the point of donation. The ProBlood system opens tremendous opportunities to administer separated blood where whole blood has been the only option to-date. For the first time it is now possible to set up mini-blood banks in remote locations, in rescue scenarios, following natural and humanitarian disasters, in remote maternity clinics facing maternal mortality challenges, and in the developing world clinics addressing severe pediatric anemia.
CDG were asked to design all corporate branding, literature and online media. Basically everything and also include product branding, labelling and packaging in all languages in their desired markets.
CDG knew where to start with a project of this type as it is the mainstay of what we do for all our new clients: developing a brand strategy and deploying it to all relevant material. The brand was designed using real blood and photographed to give an authentic look. The new logo was enhanced using photo manipulation and the typography was carefully thought out to compliment the brand and its strength. We created a strapline and brand culture insuring all material was carefully coordinated for a worldwide audience. Multilingual options were designed for ProBlood and ZooBlood; product derivatives and designs were also added to the brand identity at later stages. All photography, graphics and videos were produced by CDG to enable Hemacon to promote their product offering. This international work is typical of what CDG can achieve with your brand.
