6 Steps To Brand Success

STEPS TO BRAND SUCCESS

What create the brand success? Here is the list of the most important guidelines to rise your brand’s popularity.

1. TELL A STORY ABOUT YOUR BRAND

A brand is not only about a logo and a business card; your brand should tell a story about the unique experience it offers to its customers. Your ability to create and communicate a story around your brand is what will get your customers to connect emotionally to your brand.

2. GET YOUR BRAND EXPOSED

A big factor contributing to the success of a brand is its ability to communicate with its consumers through multiple channels. Traditionally larger companies have always had a distinct advantage in being able to reach large audiences through channels of mass communication, such as TV ads, publications in global magazines and radio broadcasts.

In the past decade though smaller companies have caught up and are now able to reach larger audiences through Social Media, narrowing the gap between large organizations and small ones.

3. OPTIMIZE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE

By establishing a presence in social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Google+ anyone can now reach a global audience. The difficult part is knowing how to optimise these tools   for your business.

In the past couple of years Google has hugely increased the value of social media endorsements of all types. While links from reputable sites are still extremely important and should still be part of your digital marketing strategy, Facebook’s “like,” Twitter’s tweets, LinkedIn’s shares and Pinterest’s pins are now having a very strong influence on the popularity and ranking of your website.

So now you have a social media presence, but how do you actually connect to your clients and expand your customer base? You will need to create valuable content to attract and engage with your clients, as described in the following 2 points.

4. CONTENT IS KING

Creating valuable content is probably the most important factor in engaging with existing and new clients, while also increasing your brand’s exposure on social media.

Creating informative, educational and inspirational content, will ensure that your audience will engage with your company and share your content with their friends, effectively giving you free ‘word of mouth’ advertising. Additionally, creating valuable content for your blog and social media, will enhance the reputation of your brand.

5. ENGAGE WITH YOUR AUDIENCE

Once clients are drawn to your website, the next step is to interact and engage with them. You will need to start a dialogue with your clients through what is known as a ‘call to action’; to this end you will ask users to participate by sharing an article, joining a competition or simply answering a question.

6. DON’T MISS OUT ON MOBILE USERS

Ireland has officially more mobile phone users than inhabitants, according to figures published in June 2014.

Data provided by ComReg, the Commission for Communication Regulations highlights that there were 5,432,180 active mobile phone subscriptions at the end of March 2014.

This equates roughly to 12 mobile phones for every 10 people living in this country and this figure includes new-born babies.

When it comes to social media it is worthy to note that a staggering 80% of Twitter users access their account via a mobile device.

Facebook’s 101 million US daily mobile users make up a whopping 78% of its 128 million daily US users. (Source: http://techcrunch.com/accessed 13 March 2015)

Mobile users are, therefore, becoming a dominant force that can no longer be ignored.
